Choose your SSL.

Select the interface from the eligible physical Core Audio targets shown in the VolumeKeys menu.

Does VolumeKeys work with SSL 2, SSL 2+, MKII models and SSL 12?+

VolumeKeys is designed for supported physical stereo outputs exposed through macOS Core Audio. The SSL 2+ MKII is our hands-on reference setup. Use the complete trial to confirm the exact route on your Mac before buying.

Which SSL interface did you check hands-on?+

We connected an SSL 2+ MKII to a Mac, selected it as the VolumeKeys target and checked F10 mute, F11 volume down and F12 volume up.

Does VolumeKeys move the SSL monitor knob?+

No. The monitor knob remains a physical hardware control. VolumeKeys adjusts the selected Mac audio route before it reaches the interface.

VolumeKeys controls the selected Mac playback route. Hardware direct-monitor signals that do not pass through that Mac route remain under the interface controls.
